4 1/2 Inch Class

Chassis
1. Must be commercially available, stamped and formed chassis with a 4 1/2 inch wheelbase and be approved for competition.
2. May interchange parts from a single manufacturer i.e. Flexi and Flexi 2 parts., Jk long or short center sections and heavy or light pans on JK.
3. Chassis may have a maximum of three (3) chassis parts consisting of one solid center and maximum of two (2) separate pans. No additional pans or two (2) piece center sections allowed.
4. No modifications except for the following;
May solder motor, axle oilites and front wheel retainers.
May add lead weight and tape to chassis.
May file holes in motor bracket to allow better gear mesh, but must retain a portion of motor bracket.
5. No oilites modifications. May use offset oilites.
6. May add spacers between pans and center sections.
7. May add one (1) inch long motor brace.
8. The original manufacturer's plating may be removed only in areas to be soldered.
9. No other modifications, soldering, cutting. grinding or bracing allowed.
10. May use any guide, nut, spacers, lead wires and clips.
11. May perform reasonable filingor rear oilite chassis holes to allow for axle alignment.
12. No ball bearings allowed.
Motor
1. Motor must be a sealed Parma 501 "Death Star motor.
2. No comm. drops allowed.
3. No motor claim.
4. Must maintain .063 clearance.
5. Soldering of end bell bushings is not allowed.
6. Motors will be checked.
Bodies
First series will be 4 1/2 inch Nascar pickup truck bodies. No cut line rule.
The trucks will rotate w Nostalgia bodies every other series. Torino, Montego, Fairlane and GTO without spoiler. Also Impala and 66 Charger Fast Back. No add on or glue on spoilers.
Gears
1. 48 pitch gears. May solder pinion onto armature shaft.
2. 9 tooth pinion.
3. Any ring gear.
Axles & Tires
1. Minimum front and rear axle diameter is 1/8 inch. Steel axles only. No hollow or other lightweight axles. Drill blank
axles are allowed.
2. Tires front and rear must be composed of black foam rubber. No dyed tires allowed. May add nail polish to front tires.
3. Front tires minimum diameter is 0.675 in. Minimum front tire width is 0.400 inch. Minimum rear tire diameter is is 0.790 in.
4. 3 1/4 inch is overall max. tread width.
5. Solid one (1) piece front axle only, no stubbies. Axle must pass through both front uprights.
6. Independent rotating front tires are allowed.
7. Lighter fluid cleaning of tires between heats is allowed.
Controller
1. Turbo and Sebring only.
2. Parma Veri-brake adjusters allowed.
Race Director
1. All cars impounded after tech.
2. Next sit out will place marker in inside wall and return car to tech box.
3. Car that starts race is the same one that will finish, no switching cars.
4. Sit outs will marshall- no exceptions.
5. Anyone glueing tires will be disqualified and banned for 2 races.
6. If your car breaks during race the race will continue without you.
JUNIOR CLASS
$8.00 per race.
5 thru 11 yrs old.
BODY
1. Body must be painted with clear windows where applicable.
2. Maximum rear height of 1 5/8 ".
3. Junior may use "Wedge" or "Ultimate" style high downforce bodies until having scored 3 wins. After 3 wins must run a low downforce body.
CHASSIS
1. Must be commercially available approved chassis.
2. May interchange parts from a single manufactureer, such as Flexi and Flexi 2 parts, or JK long and short center sections and heavy and light pans on a JK chassis.
3. No modifications except for the following:
a. May solder or glue motor, axle oilites and front wheel retainers.
b. May add lead weight and tape to the chassis.
c. May add a one inch (25.4 mm) long motor brace and an upright brace.
d. The original manufacturer's plating may be removed only in areas to be soldered.
e. May add pin tubes. Pin tubes may either be solid or floating.
f. May add lead wire retainer.
g. May solder on steel guide tongue reinforcement such as Slick 7 but the original tongue can not be modified or moved.
h. No other modifications, soldering, cutting, grinding, or bracing allowed.
i. May use any guide, nut, spacers, lead wire and clips
j. May perforn reasonable filing of rear oilite chassis holes to allow for axle alignment.
k. Car that starts the race will be the one to finish. No switching cars.
MOTORS AND GEARS
1. Motor must be a sealed Parma 501 Death Star motor.
2. Soldered end bell bushings are not allowed.
3. Motors will be checked .
RACE DIRECTOR

RACE IN THE DARK
Chassis
1. 4 or 4 1/2 inch stamped steel chassis.
Motor
1. Falcon 7 or 501 death star motors.
Gears
1.No gear rule.
Bodies
1. No wings, wing car bodies, add on spoilers, or side boards.
2. A total of 3 1/8 inch wheat lights allowed. 2 in front half of car and 1 in rear. Lights are available at Speedway Slots and Hobbies.
3. No glow sticks or chemicals from glow sticks.
4. Glow in the dark paint or stickers are allowed.
Race Director
1. All cars impounded after tech.
2. Next sit out will place marker in inside wall and return car to tech box.
3. Car that starts race is the same one that will finish, no switching cars.
4. Sit outs will marshall- no exceptions.
5. Anyone gluing tires will be disqualified and banned for 2 races.
6. If your car breaks during race the race will continue without you.
7. NO ADDED LAPS.
8. All monitors, except for main computer, will be off.
9. Flashlights for marshalls only.
10.No yelling at marshalls.

2. 3/32 inch axle and 64 pitch gear.

4 HOUR ENDURO
$35.00 per team
Schedule
1. Track opens at 9 a.m.
2. Sign in 9:00 to 9:30.
3. 15 minute practice at 9:30 for those signed in.
4. Motor hand out and install 9:45 to 10:15.
5. Tech at 10:15.
6. Race starts at 10:30.
7. 8 heats each lasting 15 minutes. (Corrected 1/3/12)
8. 1/2 hour lunch break-meal courtesy of Speedway Slots.
9. 8 more heats each lasting 15 minutes for a total of 8 heats.

Rules
1. All 4 1/2 inch race rules apply, including turbo controller.
2. Nascar truck bodies.
3. Hand out 501 motor included in race fee, you keep the motor.
4. 9 tooth pinion on hand out motor, any axle gear.

6. Each team needs a name.
7. No comm drops.
8. No glue on tires or track.
9. All work including oil and tire cleaning must be done under the green flag. No work done during lane changes.
10.No track calls except under the bridge.

1. 4 1/2 inch Parma FCR 0.063 track clearance to frame.
2. Front bumper to protect guide is allowed.
3. Width must not exceed 3 1/4 inches at any point.
4. Must use Parma white guide # 645.
5. May use guide spacers and add lead wire brass clips.
6. Must retain stock Parma lead wire.
7. May solder motor.
8. Braces on frame to keep from bending are allowed.
9. No modifying oil lite holes.
10 May add lead weight.
Motor
1. Stock 501 Death Star motor.
2. Changing brushes is allowed.
Gears
1. Stock 9 tooth Parma pinion- no angles.
2. Stock 30 tooth Parma crown gear.
3. 48 pitch.
Axles
1. 1/8 inch front and rear.
2. No independent front tires.
3. Must use 3/16 brass spacer #617B on fronts and rears.
Tires
1. 1/8 X 13/16 Parma FCR fronts only.
2. 1/8 X 7/8 Parma FCR rears only.
Body
1. Modified body from Speedway Slots only- not a Parma body.
Controller
1. Sebring or Turbo only.
